A gift for Robin · June 1, 2026

60Voices

She turns 60 on June 1. Leave her a note, share a memory, and help create something she will keep forever.

🤫  This is a surprise — please don't share this page with Robin

Robin Shaddy turns 60 on June 1. She has shown up — fully, generously, with her whole self — across many chapters and many lives, and the people who love her are coming together to mark this moment in a way that feels equal to who she is.

Your note will be given to Robin on her birthday. Your words and photos will also go to an artist creating a painted portrait of Robin — a surprise gift she won't know about until it's finished.

60 at 60 · A Year of Intention

A woman in full motion

Robin has mapped her 60th year as a deliberate journey of self-discovery, guided by a mantra she wrote for herself:

"Inhabiting who I already am. I choose to live it awake and with more honesty, connectedness, fun and care. I release the past to make room for a powerful future. Action creates clarity. I choose where my energy goes."

She has mapped this year across 12 chapters of her life — each one an area she is tending with intention:

Seeking places that will change and inspire her
Us, Intentionally — tending her most important relationship
Becoming more fully herself
Staying connected as her kids become themselves
Acts of care & connection
Letting go & making space
Tending the body she lives in
Friendship & chosen family
Creativity without outcome
Meaning, spirit & inner life
Home as a reflection of who she is now
Looking back, looking ahead

Your words and photos will join her own writing to give the artist a full picture of Robin — as she sees herself, and as the people who love her see her.

Your prompt
Who is Robin to you? What do you want for her in this next chapter? What should the artist know about her — her spirit, her color, her way of moving through the world?

Leave your voice

Your note will be given to Robin on her birthday. Your words and photos go to the artist for her portrait.

Notes due Friday, May 29 — so we can include them in Robin's June 1 celebration. Adding more thoughts or photos after that is welcome — everything you share goes to the artist for her portrait.

Photos are optional but meaningful. A picture of you with Robin — from any chapter — gives the artist something real to work with. Don't have one handy? Submit your note now and come back to add a photo later. You can submit more than once.

Please keep this a surprise. Robin will hear your notes on her birthday. The painting is a separate gift she won't know about until it's finished. Please don't mention the painting to her.

How this becomes a gift

1
Your words reach Robin on her birthday. Notes will be given to Robin on June 1 — voices from across her life, gathered in one place.
2
Everything goes to the artist. Every note, photo, and Robin's own journal from her 60th year become the raw material for her portrait.
3
A portrait is made. The artist weaves your words and images into a painting that captures who Robin is at this moment. Your words may become part of the paint itself.
4
Robin receives it as a surprise. A gift that began here, with you.
